What’s in a name? challenge
I like this challenge, it seems kind of relaxed and an easy thing to fit into the year’s reading. For anyone else who is interested, I found it at Eva’s, and the rules are here. So now to figure out my books. Well, I say figure out; in fact, it was a matter of going through my ‘want to/about to read’ list and transferring the titles here.
Book with a colour in the title: The Blue Max, Jack D Hunter
Book with an animal in the title: Out Stealing Horses, Per Petterson OR St Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves, Karen Russell, OR The Tenderness of Wolves, Steph Penney
Book with a first name in the title: Hester, Margaret Oliphant
Book with a place in the title: Christ Stopped at Eboli, Carlo Levi.
Book with a weather event in the title: The Mists of Avalon, Marion Zimmer Bradley
Book with a plant in the title: Country of the Pointed Firs, Sarah Orne Jewett
plus, my own new category of books with a time of day in the title: Midnight in Sicily, Peter Robb

I am so impressed that you are already 2/3 of the way through the challenge and it is not even March!

I am sort of cheating - the books are not additional to my regular course of reading, they were mostly on my TBR list already. However, now I’ve veered off a little, so it might be a month before I get back to it.
